I have the rights to boastful talk, due to the Master's Degree in Education I received from Almeda University one year ago! In September 2006, I started in a position at a local Catholic High School, as a long-term substitute in physical science, at an unheard of salary of $185.00 a day (per diem). In December the original teacher returned from medical leave and I was given the accelerated chemistry classes, the original teacher for that subject proved to be pedagogically inept, in spite of his many years of experience in a chemistry lab, at a local and prominent University.
I not only receive a salary that exceeds most others, but also have been given more responsibilities that should be given to the science department head, and have been approached about filling that position next year, as well as some administrative positions!
I am currently utilizing this position as an opportunity to provide spiritual and social counseling and coaching to the adolescent students, as to create available research, towards my intended paper for a Ph.D. in spiritual counseling, from Almeda University.
