Live Conference Calls with U.S. Corporate Executives and Elected Officials
San Diego, CA, January 31, 2007: Almeda University today announces the launch of their new student service - the Mentor Apprentice Network. Students can now gain direct access to senior innovators and decision makers at the highest corporate and political levels.
Alemda University's Mentor Apprentice Network, via state of the art conference call technology, provides small groups the opportunity to engage in live, real-time discussions with directors, vice presidents and chief officers in Fortune 1000 companies.
"This is 21st Century mentoring ," states mentor Ellsworth Hercules, Chief Information Officer at Bank of America MBNA, the world's largest independent credit card issuer, "from any phone, young protégés observe, question, and explore- and from my office or the airport, as a working professional and mentor, I'm able to demonstrate, explain and model the real world of employment and careers."
The online service empowers students to select mentors from dozens of corporations nationwide. Once selections are made, confirmation containing a toll free number, appointment time and security code is emailed to the student. The student dials into the reserved conference room, greeted by the moderator and the one hour conference call begins with the mentor.
Almeda University, in association with DoctorTEXT, an academic counseling and editing service and ColumbusFX Management an international consulting firm are offering the Mentoring Network available 24 hours day at http://www.doctortext.com/almeda_mentoring.asp |
