Giving Thanks for Achieving Your Goals - Even the Small Ones!
Financial gain isn't something that happens overnight - unless you happened to be the lucky winner of the lottery last week. Instead, it is something that must be done with careful goal setting and achievements. Recognize those achievements by giving thanks, and keep yourself motivated to reach that next step.
There are typically two kinds of financial goals: long-term financial goals and short-term financial goals. When all is said and done, there is very little difference between the two, except for the length of time it takes to achieve them. No matter which goals you happen to be working on, it is important that you give thanks for your well-planned achievement when you reach that next stage in your financial success...Read full article

There is an ever-growing phenomenon, these days that includes parents teaching their children how important it is to say "thank you" when given a helping hand, or a birthday or holiday present. After almost a generation where this was not prioritized as highly, the value of teaching children "thanks" has returned to the forefront of family life... Read full article |

The Power of Saying "Thank You"
No matter what job you have and what industry you're in, your customers are the ones that make up a full 100 percent of all of your sales and profits. With that in mind, consider how much time you are spending on your current clients, compared with the amount of time and money you spend trying to bring in new ones.
It's important to remember that saying "thank you" isn't just something that you do among friends and family. And although we may routinely say "thank you, have a nice day"...Read full article
At Your Service Communication Tips for Customer Service Professionals
All wise business owners know that customers are the foundation of their business; without customers, there is no business. Why, then, are so many unhappy consumers frustrated with the state of customer relations in so many businesses? What distinguishes a good customer service experience from a bad one? While there are many answers to these questions, at the root of it all, communication is- again- the key.
The fact is, customer service representatives (CSRs) who know how to listen and respond to customers are far more likely to resolve issues and cultivate happy, loyal customers than those who are more interested in talking than listening, and more interested being "right" than in resolving issues...Read full article

For many families, Thanksgiving is one of the most important days of the year. Certainly, there are other important dates on the calendar, but Thanksgiving is the one day every year that gives families the opportunity to truly think about what is meaningful in their lives.

After receiving my degree in Marketing from Almeda, I was rewarded by the company I work for with a surprise party, an extra week of vacation, and a notification from our Vice President about my achievement, on which all employees were copied. When our new fiscal year began, I was awarded a pay raise commensurate with those already having their degrees. The investment
I made with Almeda University was well worth my time and effort.
