If you do not already possess a Bachelor’s degree, you cannot write a thesis or dissertation until you first attain your undergraduate credentials. If you already possess a Bachelor’s degree and wish to author a thesis for one of Almeda’s Master’s programs, your focus should be to prove a main hypothesis supported by the use of literature analysis, methodological considerations, and theoretical propositions. Since you already possess the knowledge from an undergraduate education, this process generally requires about 5 months to complete.

If the above criteria apply to your interests and capabilities, you should proceed in the following way. First, assess your background. Are you seeking a master degree or are you seeking a doctorate degree. Do you possess the time and skills required that would allow you to design a thesis or dissertation for a relevant graduate program? Next, determine your major area of study and what significant topic a thesis or dissertation in this subject might examine. Write a proposal justifying why this is a legitimate form of scholarship and how the topic relates to your major area of study, including your first tuition payment. Almeda faculty will review your intentions and provide swift feedback so that you may begin on the full-scale design. You will then spend the following months examining your topic and articulating your analysis, culminating with a final manuscript submitted in MS Word and your final tuition payment. Again, your work will be reviewed by Almeda faculty and evaluated to determine if it meets academic conventions consistent with the field and degree sought. In all instances, Almeda provides you with the feedback and guidance necessary to develop a thesis or dissertation that warrants the respective degree, upon which you will be provided with final certification.
