Biblical interpretation is a focused subset of Almeda's Biblical Studies degree. Specifically, the emphasis of education is narrowed from the general knowledge and understanding of the Bible and its philosophy to center upon historical and modern interpretation of its verses.
Almeda University offers this degree for those students who seek a very targeted application of their Biblical Knowledge. Most often, students will gain familiarity with some elements of Biblical Interpretation on the way to degrees in Christian or Biblical Studies, however this particular degree is aimed at those who are passionate about how the Bible is/has been interpreted and the consequences for this interpretation. This is a particularly useful path for those who wish to pursue an academic career in rhetoric or writing on this topic.
