Similar to Almeda's degree in Religious Education, our Religious Studies degree is earned through a demonstrated knowledge of all the major world religions, not restricted to the study of Christianity. The main difference between Almeda's degree in Religious Studies and Religious Education is that this Religious Studies track is intended more for solitary applications like research, writing, and personal enlightenment rather than as a basis of teaching others principles of religions.
Religious Studies reflects a strong understanding of the values and philosophical beliefs of many diverse religious systems, focusing on the history, beliefs, tenets, and traditions of each through an intellectual and spiritual paradigm of human thought and being.
