What is a Life Experience Degree?
Have you heard the saying, "You learn something new every day?" It's absolutely true. You don't stop learning when you leave school, in fact, the most important and influential learning in most people's lives takes place out in the real world, not in the halls of academe.

How Does It Work?
Almeda University has developed degree programs, approved by the Association for Online Academic Excellence, which will allow you to convert your life experiences into credits toward a degree. You've spent 20 years becoming a master in your field- Shouldn't that count for something? We think so.
These degrees are not available to just anyone. There is a specific set of criteria for each and every degree level, and your qualifications in your chosen field of study will be examined thoroughly. To begin, complete the free evaluation application. Our staff will use the reliable Prior Learning Assessment method to review your life experience, competencies, skills and knowledge to determine your level of mastery in your field. Based on this evaluation, you can earn a degree commensurate with your level of experience.
